Regulations
All anglers must be in possession of a permit before entering onto the fishery.
METHODS: Single rod only. Fly, worm or spinner only. No maggots, sweetcorn or groundbait.
BAG LIMIT: 4 trout per day.
Biosecurity: It is illegal to transfer live fish between water bodies and please look after our environment. Take care – be aware. Clean and dry all your gear (nets, tackle, boots, boats etc) when moving from river to river and help limit the movement of fish disease, predators and invasive species.
Note: Anglers ignoring the regulations are liable to have their fishing tackle confiscated and may also be prosecuted.
Season: Shepperton Lake and Lough Bofinne, West Cork 01 April – 30 September. Lough Fadda and Barfinnihy, Co. Lake, Kerry 01 May – 30 September.
ANY BREACH OF THE REGULATIONS OR LITTERING MAY CAUSE THIS PERMIT TO BE REVOKED
