Moy Fishery – Upper Beat

Inland Fisheries Ireland is now offering 3.5 miles of angling on the left-hand bank of the River Moy (looking downstream) in and adjacent to Ballina, County Mayo. The beat is known as the Moy Fishery – Upper Beat and is located immediately upstream of the Moy Fishery – Freshwater Beat.

The number of rods is not limited on this 3.5-mile stretch of river which is located in the townlands of Mullauns, Rahans, Rathnaconeen, Carrownthrila and Ballyhiernaun providing angling for salmon, sea trout and brown trout.
