Blackwater Bridge – Kerry Blackwater
The Kerry Blackwater is 10 miles long, characterised by streams and about 30 holding pools, some quite large. Peak months are June, July and August for sea trout and grilse.
All anglers must be in possession of a valid salmon licence and permit before entering onto the fishery.
ANGLING METHODS: Check with Salmon Regulations published annually. Worms as bait prohibited at all times.
Season – Salmon from 15th March to 30th September. Brown Trout/Sea trout from 15th March to 12th October.
